This half term we will be looking at the topic ‘Romans and Celts’. Within the Art and Design lessons we will be exploring the work of architect, Vitruvius. In D&T we will be constructing a Roman chariot. During our History lessons, we will be learning about Ancient Rome and how this heavily influenced Britain as we know it today. As well as this, we will be looking at physical and geographical features of parts of Italy in geography.

In Science we will be looking at eating and digestion. We will look at the organs that make up our digestive system and we’ll learn about the different kinds of teeth that we have.

In French we will be looking at numbers 20-40. We will build on our previous knowledge of numbers up to 20 and begin to solve simple maths problems in French. We will also begin to look at months and days of the week.

In music, children will be learning how to play chords on the ukulele, as well as develop their performance skills on this instrument.
