This half term we will be looking at the topic ‘Treasure’.  Within the Art and Design lessons we will be creating a
treasure box by manipulating clay. In DT we will be making a functioning metal detector. During our History lessons, we will be exploring and researching the Staffordshire treasure hoard and will also be discovering how King Richard III is related to our local area. As well as this, we will be looking at physical and geographical features of places, and analyse maps to learn about map symbols and grid references.

In Science we will be looking at living things and their habitats. We will be looking at different environments as well as the difference between vertebrate and invertebrates. Also, we will be using a classification key to identify unfamiliar animals.
