Barcroft BLAST
What is Barcroft BLAST?
The Barcroft BLAST is a team of teachers, support staff and pupils who will promote the importance of coming to school every day and encouraging pupils and parents/carers to be positive role models for our Barcroft Primary School community.
It is important to raise our school’s whole school attendance so we are above national average which is currently at 93%. BLAST will have the responsibility to help raise these standards by:
- Promoting attendance at school – thinking about rewards and incentives;
- Helping pupils come to school by communicating with them and supporting them;
- Delivering assemblies once every half term;
- Meeting with a staff member once every half term to discuss attendance.
