This term our themes are ‘Traders and Raiders’, where we will be focusing on Anglo-Saxon Britain, followed by The Vikings.

In Geography, the children will be looking at Europe. Focusing on identifying countries on a map and then diving deeper into individual countries and their cities.

In History, year 5 will be looking at Britain during the Anglo-Saxon and Viking eras and the countries that they originated from.

In DT, the students will have a food tech topic making Anglo-Saxon cakes followed by a chance to build a Viking longhouse.

In Science, the children will be studying Forces and will be conducting various experiments which will demonstrate the different forces that we come across in every day life.
